Street Vendors of Ratu Plaza Controlled

As many as six carts and five stalls of street vendors in front of Ratu Plaza were controlled by Satpol PP personnel. They violated Bylaw No. 8/2007 about Public Order by selling on sidewalk and pedestrian bridge.

Iyan Sophian Hadi, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, admitted citizens often complaining about street vendors existence due to disturbing the pedestrian.

“We control six carts and one bicycle-coffee,” he said, Monday (4/4).

After controlling the street vendors, his side gave a statement letter not to selling at the area. If they come back, their properties will be seized.
